Tainted Honor Tainted Honor is the longer of my two Ranma stories, written in late 1997. The story revolves around Ryouga. The story was initially inspired by reading Nicholas Leifker's "Journeys", but it goes in a decidedly different direction than that story. Ranma and Ryouga have gone off on an adventure in hopes of curing their curses... but even as they are successful in this end, tragedy has struck. Ranma is killed, and Ryouga holds himself responsible. Now Ryouga is sworn to protect Akane, but does that mean protecting her from himself as well? Tainted Honor is more a psychological story than it is anything
else, dealing with Ryouga's efforts to come to terms with the person that
he has been and the things that he has done, and the things which have happened
for which he feels that he must bear the blame. It is again one of my older
works, though more recent than Bubblegum Collision or Bubblegum
Collapse, and is not quite up to my current standards for my work... but
I've been told that it's a good story nonetheless, so you might want to take a look
at it. There are five chapters. |
